Will my dog have individual quarters?
Yes, your dog will have its’ own private suite with a bed, toys and food tray when meals are served. Your pet can spend a lot or a small amount of time in his/her suite.
Can I bring my dogs personal belongings?
Yes you can. However, we cannot guarantee the condition of your dog’s personal belongings.
What if my dog does not get along with the other dogs?
We will keep your dog in its own suite most of the time. Your dog will have its own time to play outside alone until he/she feels more comfortable with the other guests. Your pet will receive one on one attention rather than group play if he/she does not adjust during the visit.
Do you board puppies?
Yes, once they are 4 months of age and have all the necessary vaccinations. There could be an additional charge if your puppy requires lots of special care.
Do you have air conditioning and heating?
Yes, the building is total electric and climate controlled.
Do you have indoor play and outside play area?
Yes, we have a large playroom full of toys, plus television and music. There are several beds so they can play and rest without going to their suites. Outside we have 1800 sq. ft. of enclosed play area. Large grass areas shaped as a dog bone and lots of area to just run and play with each other. Plus, there are lots of toys.
Is your property secure?
Yes, there is a 6-foot block wall surrounding the property. No one can see in and the dogs can’t see out. It is also a rural environment.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes.
What brand of food do you feed the dogs?
Eukanuba, Royal Canine and Canidae.
How often do you feed the dogs?
We feed the dogs at breakfast, treats midday and evening meal. If your dogs need special feedings we will do that.
Can I board more than 1 dog?
Yes, you can board more than one dog. The suite determines how many dogs are allowed per suite.
What is the total number of dogs allowed at the hotel?
Total number of dogs is 20. This is a small hotel so your pet will receive lots of attention.
Are large dogs allowed?
NO
Do you take special requests?
At the time of the reservation we will determine if we can meet that request and if there will be an additional fee.
What do you do in case of an emergency?
You complete a form upon arrival that lists all of your contact numbers, which includes your vet. All emergencies mean that your pet will be taken to the vet at your cost and you will be contacted.
Do you require vaccinations?
Yes, and they are required prior to boarding with proof from your vet. Shots required are: Bordetella Annual, DHLPPC Vaccination Annual and Rabies Vaccination Canine 3 years. If your papers show that your shots are near expiration you will be required to update prior to boarding. This is for the safety of your pet and all the other guests.
How do I make reservations?
You can call 775-727-7977. If booking for a major holiday, book well in advance. Day Care we need 24 hour notice. You will need all vaccination records for any stay at Royal Canine Villa.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, Visa and MasterCard. And, of course, cash.
